As I step into my new role as Director of Education of this high functioning and family-oriented Catholic school division, I am filled with anticipation, joy and gratitude. Our theme for the year, "Rooted in Christ, Serving in Love," beautifully encapsulates our foundational statements, values and beliefs. This theme invites us to deepen our faith and embody Christ's love in every aspect of our lives.
Our journey this year will be one of spiritual growth and communal support. We are called to be rooted in the teachings of Christ, allowing His love to guide us in our daily interactions and decisions. This rootedness will empower us to serve one another with compassion, respect, and kindness, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
Together, let us embrace this theme by fostering a community where faith is nurtured, and love is actively lived out. I am excited to work alongside you—students, families, and staff—as we embark on this new school year. Thank you for the special and warm welcome to the division. Let us strive to make every moment count, always remembering that our commitment to Christ and service will guide us through all challenges and triumphs and allow us to celebrate our children and students.
